Resilient GSU Beat Prisons to Bag 100,000/- During 2016’s #AmacoVolleyball Tournament

The much awaited annual Amaco Volleyball International Tournament started off on Thursday (May 13th, 2016) with over 60 teams pitching tent at Eldoret Polytechnic ready to battle it out for the coveted top position. Neighboring countries like Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda also flew in their teams to take part in the highly competitive tournament. Even, though the weather of the high altitude region was rainy, the teams managed to contest in good sporting harmony.

Come Sunday (May 15th, 2016) the finals of the competition, GSU and Kenya Prison men’s teams had relentlessly worked their way into the last two. It was a hot contest for the top spot as a resilient GSU managed to bag home the win, list the trophy as well as walk home 100,000/- richer than they had arrived.
